Appliances, sanitaryware and services are normally excluded and clearly marked as such on every quotation line.
Door finishes and what they cost
Finish is the largest single lever on joinery cost. The range below is what we quote from, ordered roughly by price.

Cabinetry finishes run higher than the equivalent kitchen finish, because wardrobe doors are larger and carcass depths differ.
Push-to-open mechanisms add roughly ten per cent. Installation adds roughly a quarter.

Turkey or London
We route joinery to the workshop that suits the specification, and we are straightforward about which is which.
Turkey takes most of it. Cabinetry, kitchens, wardrobes, casegoods. The workshops are ones we use repeatedly and visit during production. The cost difference against a comparable London workshop is significant, and it is the main reason our joinery pricing looks the way it does.
London takes the very high end, and anything where freight would eat the saving. Hand-finished work, complex veneer matching, unusual materials, and most upholstery.

Working at the top of the specification
A recent London flat gives a fair picture of the level we work at: Arabescato stone worktops with a fifty-millimetre reverse bullnose, oak veneer carcasses with solid lipping proud of the face, dark bronze framed antiqued mirror by Rough Old Glass, Novocastrian metalwork, Joseph Giles ironmongery in matt and waxed dark bronze, Studio Ore brassware, a Rose Uniacke heavyweight linen back panel, and recessed 2700K LED throughout.
Twenty-odd units, a drawing for each, and a sample issued for every material before anything was cut.

Common questions
Do you work from my drawings? Yes, or we produce manufacturing drawings from your intent for approval.
Can I get samples? Always, and before production. Finish panels, stone offcuts, ironmongery.
What is the minimum size of job? There is no formal minimum, but below about three linear metres the fixed costs of freight and drawings start to dominate. Ask us and we will be honest about whether it is worth it.
Do you do supply-only? Yes. Installation is optional.
How accurate is the estimator? It uses the same rates we quote from, and gives a range rather than a figure. A formal quotation against real drawings is what you should commit to.
